My Soul’s Harmonic reflects several lines of thought that has been in my minds work file for some time. I actually started the book before we moved back to Oklahoma . It has been interrupted by all that goes with a major move and getting re-settled.

But here it is! One of the lines of thought has been to write a book for groups of musicians to use during their devotional time. But family and friends wanted it to be for them as well as dedicated musicians. So I tried to tone down the technical speak and include music lovers as well.

Spiritually, I have been obsessed with music and how it relates to our spiritual life, how it affects us, and how God uses it. I also see the components of music as many metaphors for our relationship with God. Music also brings with it the struggle for what is really in our hearts and who, or what, rules the core of our being. Hence the name.
