If, as we believe, God is the creator of all things and Beings. He created the universe and all that is in it. Since we believe God created out of love, He also would provide a way of communicating with those Beings.

The Universal Science Ship M. Curie Discoveries are about a Chaplain aboard the ship who discovers how different Beings he comes across in the archaeological digs of the scientists of M. Curie have completely different natures and none of the symbols he is familiar in relationship with God apply. Chaplain Lea has to figure out if they have any belief in a higher power or if they are a cultic society. Then he has to figure out what the symbols mean to each society.

Along the way he acquires a reputation of getting in trouble.
